Welcome to the Isle of Wight Senior Golf Alliance website.


The Isle of Wight Seniors Golf Alliance was formed in 1991 and there are currently 5 participating member clubs. 

The primary purpose of the Alliance is to promote friendship through golf.

Senior members of all affiliated clubs are very welcome at all Alliance events. 

The Seniors Alliance runs 12 events from the end of March through to October each year, to which all members are eligible. 

Fields are well subscribed for every event with an excellent standard of golf.

The competitions provide a competitive atmosphere for an amateur to keep an edge to their game.

The maximum playing handicap is 28 and there are prizes for the first 5 places in each of two divisions. 

With a very reasonable annual membership fee of £40 (and no joining fee) this equates to a cost of a little over £3 per competition ! 

 Friendship through golf forms the basis of everything we do.  With an impressive list of clubs there is something for everyone.
